Diversity in the Judiciary

Tues., Feb. 15, 2011

@ Dade County Courthouse, Courtroom 6-1
73 W. Flagler St., Miami, Florida (map)

Event Notes

This symposium will focus on diversity in the judiciary of the 11th Judicial Circuit. For many years, the circuit consisted of judges who ostensibly did not represent the ethnic, racial, gender or orientational diversity of the community. In recent years, that has changed, and the bench is more diversified and will look to the future as more women and individuals from traditionally underrepresented minority groups aspire to serve in the judiciary.
